Getting Ready Photos
We started the day with getting ready portraits of their custom, engraved, wedding bands, their invitation, and their prom photo from when they first started dating! We also captured the bride's stunning wedding dress and her sister adorning her with her wedding jewelry!
The Ceremony
Next it was time to capture the ceremony! Michelle's mom walked her down Mirbeau's garden path aisle! The 3 PM September sun offered lots of stunning highlights and bright light contrasting with the dark and moody shadows from Mirbeau's tall trees surrounding their ceremony space!
Family Portraits
Michelle and Henri's family and friends gathered for family portraits immediately following the ceremony before heading off to cocktail hour!
Bride and Groom Couple's Portraits
After family portraits we captured some of my favorite couples portraits including many bright and airy as well as many true to color photographs as we were constantly inspired by gorgeous greenery, flowers, and the well-known Mirbeau bridge!

Cocktail Hour
Their cocktail hour offered stunning moody and documentary style photography in the cocktail dark room with light blending in through the curtains and through the small, tucked-in-the-corner, bride and groom window! This lighting gave captivating opportunities for black and white portraits!
Reception
We ended the night with a stunning reception full of floral centerpieces, tea light candles, and an intimate group of family! Michelle and Henri had their first dance as wife and husband, both the bride and groom danced with their mothers, and their siblings gave wonderful toasts to the newlyweds!
